Crispy Bitter Gourd Fry

Peel off the karela and cut in round shape.Add little salt to it. Mix well. Cut onion in slices.

Cover and leave it for 15 mins.Wash it 2 to 3 times with water.

Turn on the flame and heat a pan, add 3 tbsp oil and let it heat properly. Add bitter gourd and soute it. Spread it in pan to cook evenly. Cook on high flame for 2 mins and Saute it.

Reduce the flame to medium and fry for 5 to 7 mins. Keep stirring in between. Take it out from the pan.

In the same pan, add 1tbsp oil, onion, stir it. Fry it for 3-4 mins on medium flame.

Add turmeric powder, salt and red chilli powder, mix well. Fry it for a minute. Add fried bitter gourd, mix well. Now cook for 2 mins on medium flame. Turn off the flame.

Take it out in a serving plate. Ready to serve with roti, chapati or paratha. Enjoy!!!
