In a bowl, take the karela(Bitter gourd) peel, add salt, mix well, drain the excess water and let it cool in the freezer for 10-15 minutes. Doing so will remove all of Karela's bitterness.

Now put oil in a pan and fry the chickpea flour. Then add salt and turmeric and mix well.

Saute karela peel in oil and add to roasted chickpeas flour and mix well. Lotiyu is ready.
