
Sesame Crusted Tuna
I used to make this recipe without the wasabi paste but read of a recipe that used it and gave it a shot. Delicious. For my wife who doesn't like spicey food, I only spread the wasabi paste on one side of the tuna.

I used to make this recipe without the wasabi paste but read of a recipe that used it and gave it a shot. Delicious. For my wife who doesn't like spicey food, I only spread the wasabi paste on one side of the tuna.
Steps

Heat heavy cast iron skillet to medium high

Pat tuna dry and lightly season with salt and pepper

Spread wasabi paste all over the tuna
- 4
Mix the two sesame seeds on a plate
- 5
Place tuna in mixture and gently press the sesame all around
- 6
Place tuna in hot pan and DO NOT MOVE AROUND. cook for 1 1/2 minutes per side.

Serve with dipping sauce of soy, ginger, sesame oil, garlic, lime, chilli flakes, and honey
