Ingredients

1hr _30 mins
2_3 person
  • 6chicken pieces 🐔🍗use with skin (I used without skin)
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1 tspblack pepper powder
  • 1 tspmeat tendelizer
  • For peri sauce ingredients🌶️🧄🧅🍋
  • 6_8 black eyes chillies or Talhar /kasmiri and red button chilli
  • Use kasmiri and button chillies both if not have birds eye chill
  • 1red capsicum (de seeded) if not available don't use
  • 6_7garlic cloves
  • 1medium onion
  • 1 tbspred chilli powder
  • 2 tbsppaprika powder
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1 tsporigano
  • 1/2 cupolive oil
  • 2_3tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tspblack pepper powder
  • 1 tbspmustard sauce
  • 1-2 tspsoy sauce
  • For peri rice🌾🍅🌶️🧄🧅
  • 2_1/2cups
  • 2_1/2 cups
  • 4finely chopped garlic cloves
  • 1onion chopped
  • 4Green chillies chopped
  • Peri peri sauce
  • 1 tbspsalt /according to taste
  • 4 tspoil
  • For baked potatoes🥔
  • 2medium potatoes
  • Peri peri sauce
  • 1 tspsalt

Steps

1hr _30 mins
  1. 1

    Make slits on chicken and apply salt and black pepper and keep aside

  2. 2

    Soak the whole chillies in warm water over night or for 4_5hrs

  3. 3

    Take out from water and blend with all ingredients for sauce

  4. 4

    Blend till a thick puree type sauce, taste it and adjust the hotness of sauce by adding chillies and salt now according to your taste.

    Apply some sauce on chicken and coat well on all sides

  6. 6

    Keep Merinateed in fridge overnight is best or at least 4_5 hours

  7. 7

    Put chicken in baking greased tray apply some more sauce

  8. 8

    Bake in preheatd oven at 400f for 30 mins on one side than take them out turn them and apply some more sauce and bake again for 30mins or depend on oven till fully cooked check by poking. (no blood oozing out)

    Cook the leftover sauce till the rawness is done and apply on cooked chicken then wrap in foil and bake for few mins.

    Take out it's ready.

    While you bake chicken cook rice.

    Soak rice for a while

  13. 13

    Chop onions and garlic, tomatoes and green chillies

  14. 14

    Heat oil add onions and sautee, add garlic and fry add tomatoes and peri sauce, salt and little water and cook till boil comes add rice and water nearly 5cups and cook on low flame till water dries.

    Add green chillies and put on dum for few mins covered.

    For baked potatoes I sliced them you can make wedges and coat them with peri sauce and salt. Bake them or fry

    Make a platter with rice peri chicken and chips and serve it with some peri sauce
