Steps

First wash dal and rice nicely.

Heat 1/4tbsp ghee in cooker

Roast dal and rice for 3-4 mins.

Add water milk and salt and close the lid

Cook till 3 whistles on medium flame.

In a large pan heat ghee

Add cumin seeds,mustard seeds,hing,black pepper & curry leaves.

Add ginger,chillies,salt and black pepper powder.

Then add cashews and roast till the colour changes..

Then pour the cooked dal rice to the pan & mix well.

Add more water if required *

Garnish with coriander leaves (optional)
