This bread only needs to rise once, which means it wont take long for you to make some homemade bread just in time for dinner!

Steps

Put milk and butter in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from hob and add the oats and syrup, leave for 15 minutes.

Mix the water into the "porridge", followed by salt and dry yeast.

Put the porridge in a bowl with flour and knead for 10 minutes. Flatten it out on a baking tray, about 30x40 cm, and cut into squares. Leave to rise for 1 hour (or overnight).

Sprinkle with seeds (optional) and bake at 200 degrees for about 35 minutes. Let cool down for 10 minutes and serve!
