Kala chana curry

Soak the chana over night, add little salt and cook it till soft. You can give five whistle in cooked.

Soak the tamarind in one cup of water and remove the pulp.

In kadhai heat oil,add Fenugreek seeds, crushed garlic saute for two seconds.

Add chopped onion and saute it.

Add tomatoes and green chillies, saute for few minutes.

Add pinch of asafoetida.

Add cooked chana and saute it.

Now add coriander powder, chili powder and turmeric powder mix well any saute.

Finally add this salt and tamarind pulp mix well. Add water to adjust the consistency of the gravy.

Cover and bring to boil and then simmer the stove and cook for about fifteen minutes.

Kala chana curry is ready to serve. Serve hot with rice.
