Sweet Potato Poli
For those fasting day.
Steps

In a mixing bowl add flour, salt, ghee or oil and required water. Knead well to make a loose dough. Add 2 tbsp oil over it and keep aside for minimum 2 - 3 hrs.

While the dough is resting, make the stuffing. Boil, cool, clean and mash the sweet potatoes.

To the mashed potatoes, add sugar, coconut, cardamom powder and mix well.

To make the poli

Divide dough lemon sized balls and roll out to form a thick disc. Then place1 tbsp of stuffing and close to form a ball.

Then roll out into a round flat disc. Heat a tawa and fry the poli till cooked on both sides.

Now you can enjoy your poli.
