Take gram flour, curd, turmeric powder and salt in a large bowl. Mix properly and make smooth batter using a hand blender.

Also add ginger-chili paste.

Heat the mixture on medium heat till it thickens to the right consistency. It will take approximately 20-25 minutes

Now pour a drop of it on a plate and spread it a little bit and let it cool. Now try to roll it. If it rolls, the mixture has reached the right consistency. Otherwise keep cooking it a little more

Keep mixing continuously otherwise the mixture will burn from the bottom

Grease the back side of steel plates. Pour the mixture on the greased plate. Quickly spread the mixture in a thin layer using a spatula or spoon.

Allow it to cool for 10 minutes.Cut into thin strips.

Also prepare the tempering, by heating oil.add mustard seeds, chilli, curry leaves and hing

Once the tempering splutter, pour it over the khandvi.garnish the khandvi with coconut coriander leaves and pomegranate.

Now gujarati khandvi is ready to serve.
