Wash your hands.

If your meat is very frozen, let it thaw for a while. Do not wash the meat.

In a large baking dish, combine the juice of five oranges, the beer, the juice of the limes, the meat tenderizer, pepper, and salt.

Slice the onions into medium-thick rings.

Place a layer of onion rings in a deep baking dish.

Dip each piece of meat into the marinade mixture so it absorbs the flavors.

Layer the marinated meat over the onions, alternating layers of onion and meat.

Once all the meat and onions are layered, pour the remaining marinade over the top so the meat continues to soak in the juices.

Cover the dish and let the meat marinate for 2 to 3 hours. (Start this process ahead of time so you don't have to rush.)

When the marinating time is almost up, preheat your grill.

Once the grill is ready, place the pieces of meat on it. If you like, you can pour a little of the marinade over the meat as it cooks (optional). Wrap the onions in a piece of aluminum foil and grill them as well for extra flavor.

Serve the meat on a large plate with rice, guacamole, some of the grilled onions (if you like), and your choice of red or green salsa.
