Dhokla can be eaten for breakfast, as a main course, as a side dish, or as a snack. This idli dhokla I prepared with gram flour and semolina in idli stand. Instant and easy to cook.

In a bowl add gram flour, semolina, 1 tbsp oil, 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice, 1 tbps sugar, 1 tbsp salt, a pinch of red chilli powder, 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder. Mix them well.

Now add 1 tbsp baking powder. And mix well by adding 1 cup water. Make a semi paste of it.

Now take idli stand, grease it with oil and pour the batter. Now put in steamer.

If don't have steamer just in pressure cooker add 2 cup water, preheat the cooker and insert the idli stand. Remove whistle from it.

Now steam it for 15 minutes. Open lid and check by inserting toothpick in idli dhokla, if nothing sticks means dhokla is ready.

Now in a separate pan prepare it's tempering. Add 1 tbps oil, mustard seed, sugar, lime juice, Curry leaves and saute for 1 minute by adding 3-4 tbps water.

Now add this tempering on idli dhokla and serve it with green coriander chutney.
