Ingredients

1 hour
10 servings
  1. 1 cupoats
  2. 6 1/3 cupshot water
  3. 1cinnamon stick
  4. 18 packetsSplenda sugar
  5. 1 canevaporated milk
  6. 3/4 tablespoonvanilla
  7. 1tray ice cubes

Cooking Instructions

1 hour
  1. 1

In a large bowl, combine 4 1/4 cups of water with the oats.

  2. 2

Add the whole cinnamon stick and let it sit for 45 minutes. After this time, use the remaining 2 1/8 cups of water.

  3. 3

In a blender, blend the cinnamon with 1/2 cup of water, and pour the other 1/2 cup into another bowl. Blend the cinnamon well.

  4. 4

Pour it into the bowl with water through a strainer. After washing the blender, blend the oats with the water they soaked in.

  5. 5

Pour the sugar packets into a cup to make it easier to add to the horchata water.

  6. 6

Blend very well because we won't strain it. Once the oats are blended, pour them into the bowl with the cinnamon and add the sugar.

  7. 7

Add the evaporated milk and vanilla, and mix.

  8. 8

In a pitcher with ice cubes, pour the horchata water.

  9. 9

    Ready to enjoy!
