Ingredients

30-40 minutes
2-3 persons
  • 4-5aloo, boiled, peeled, roughly broken,
  • 1 cup Soaked in water with lil rock salt (sendha namak),
  • 2 tbspdesi ghee,
  • 3-4green chillies chopped,
  • 3-4ginger juliens,
  • to taste Salt(using rock salt)
  • as requiredFor Dhania Puree-- few dhania patta, 1 tomato roughly chopped,
  • as requiredSmall pc of ginger, salt to taste,
  • 1/2 tspfreshly crushed black pepper,

Steps

30-40 minutes
  1. 1

    Firstly take a mixer jar, add puree ingredients, grind it to a fine paste, keep aside

    Take a wok, add ghee, heat it.

  3. 3

    Add green chillies and ginger juliens, saute it for a while at moderate flame.

    Add dhania puree, also add lil water 💦, stir fry it till oil separates, add salt if required.

    Now add aloo, mix it well.

    Stir fry it for a while, add black pepper now.

  7. 7

    Increase the flame, give a boil.

  8. 8

    Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it till gravy gets a saucy consistency.

  9. 9

    Switch off the flame, take out in a serving bowl, have it with kuttu puri.

  10. 10

    This is a recipe for Vrat.
