Ingredients

15 minutes
02 servings
  • 2 bowlroasted vermicelli
  • 1tbsp cuddapah almond(Chironji)
  • 5-6almonds
  • as neededSome peanuts
  • 1small chopped carrot
  • 1small chopped capsicum
  • 1sliced onion
  • as per tasteSalt
  • as per tasteRed chilli powder
  • 1/2tbps garam masala
  • 2tbps cooking oil
  • 1tbps white urad dal
  • 4 cupwater

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    In a wok add 2 tbps cooking oil and add peanuts,urad dal and Chironji and almonds. Saute it for 1 minute at low flame.

    Now add chopped carrot and saute for 1 minutes. Then add sliced onion and saute for another 1 minute at medium flame.

    Now add chopped capsicum and saute for 1 more minute at medium flame.

    Now add roasted vermicelli and add water. Cook it for 7-8 at medium flame.

    Once water is soaked completely, vermicelli upma is ready to serve. Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves.
