Steps

Wash the dal and soak dal and methiseeds together for6 hours.

Wash rice and soak it for 6 hours.

After 6 hours drain water from the dal and add it to a blender, pour water just to cover the dal and soaked poha to the blender and make a smooth batter.

Then blennd the rice in a smooth and thick batter.

Mix both the batter and salt to taste.

Cover and set aside to forment for over night.

Heat iron tawa or nonstick tawa on medium flame, add 1tsp oil on hot tawa and spread it.

When tawa is ready pour one ladder batter and spread it in round shape, make sure that batter spread is slightly thicker than a batter spread for dosa.

Top with chopped onions, tomatoes, peas, sweet corn, carrot, beet green chilli capsicum and sprinkle chilli flakes and black pepper powder and gently press vegetables with a spatula.

Add 1tsp oil around the edge and cover with a lid.

Cook it 2-3mins until bottom surface turns light golden brown.

Flip it gently and cook another side for a minute.

Turn off the flame and uttapam is ready to serve.

Serve it with coconut chutney.
