Preheat oven to 350 degrees F / 175 degrees C.

Grease and flour 2 nine-inch round pans.

In a large bowl whisk all the wet ingredients either with a whisk or a hand mixer. Beat untill well combined and keep it aside.

In another bowl sift the dry ingredients and mix them all together.

Now keep adding the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients slowly and combine well. Mix and fold method with a spatula. Or mix for 2 mins on medium speed of hand mixer. Stir in the boiling water last.

Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans. Bake 30 to 35 mins until the cake tests done with a toothpick.

CHOCOLATE GANACHE: In a glass bowl pour the heavy cream and microwave for 10 to 15 seconds. Remove from microwave and add a chocolate chip and let sit for 5 mins. Stir and combine well.

Pour the chocolate ganache over the cake. Top it with chocolate scrapes.
