Matar mint soup green pea soup

In a pan heat oil on medium flame, add garlic, ginger, onion, spring onion, mint and saute for 2 minutes.

Now add green peas, salt to taste and boil for 10 minutes in low flame with 1.5 cups of water. After 10 minutes when matar becomes tender shitch off the gas and let it cool

Now transfer the matar to a blender and blend to make a fine puree. The puree is little thick so add 1/2 cup milk and adjust the consistency. If it is still thik than add little more milk.

Boil this soup for more 3 to 5 minutes, add black pepper powder, adjust salt if needed, switch off the flame, transfer the soup into a soup bowl garnish with mint leaves and serve hot.
