Inspired by chef kunal Kapur. Saw this recipe made by him and had given it a try, it was fantastic. It's so easy and the taste is awesome as he told you can't take only one. You eat it once and will go on eating it.. The shape of moon/kaju is also inviting for the kids. Can be prepared and saved till months but I bet it won't last for a week also. It's a good option for festives and and can be taken with tea.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cupMaida/all-purpose flour
  2. To tasteSalt
  3. 1/4 cupGhee
  4. 1 tspajwain/carom seeds
  5. As neededWater to knead the dough
  6. 3 cupOil for frying
  7. 1/2 tspBaking soda
  8. 1/2 tspBaking powder
  9. For masala
  10. 1 tspBlack salt /Kala namak
  11. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  12. 2 tspaamchur(dry mango) powder
  13. 2 pinchKasoori methi

    Take Maida add salt add ajwain then mix ghee and rub Maida and ghee nicely.add baking powder and soda. Now add water little by little and make it a dough keep it for 10min.

    Roll it and cut the dough into moon shape and fry them on low flame. Turn it once it's light brown.. It will take around 3 min then drain it out and mix it in the masala. Toss it when it's hot so that masala is properly coated.. It's ready enjoy it... With tea coffee or just like that...
