Firstly in a bowl mix together all-purpose flour + salt + carom seeds + oil as moin. Now add bit by bit warm water and start kneading a tight dough. Cover and rest the dough for 15-20 mins.

Now after 15-20 mins knead again and make small balls out of it

Now roll a slightly thick puri
- 4
Now with the help of a knife or fork make cuts on the puri so that while deep frying the Puris will not puff up and become crispy.

Similarly, prick all Puris and keep aside for Deep frying

Now heat oil and start frying Puri's on low flame for 6-7 mins. Flip on another side and keep frying evenly on both sides.

Once the puris are done take it out on a kitchen towel to remove excess oil.

Hot and crispy Mathris are ready to serve. It goes very well with a cup of hot Ginger tea or coffee
