Black Tea Char Siu Pork Black Tea Char Siu Pork
I learned this recipe from my mother. I make it every year around the end of the year and during the New Years holiday, when we have a lot of guests so I have enough to feed them.Since I add whatever leftover bits of vegetables I have around to the simmering liquid, the flavor changes every time I make it.A block of pork from the leg is easy to cook. This time, I used two 400 g pieces of pork from the loin (roast), so I tied them both together using more twine than usual.Since the pork cools down faster in the winter, I recommend making this in the wintertime. You can use cheap soy sauce - it will be fine. For 10 servings. Recipe by Suzuechan to mago cookpad.japan -

Milk & Black Tea Kanten Milk & Black Tea Kanten
"Kanten (agar)" is a popular ingredient for Wagashi, especially in summer. It looks like jelly but it's made from seaweeds. So it isn't necessary to worry about a protease and we can put any fresh fruits in it! It gets glass like transparency but with a lot of sugar.I made a check pattern Wagashi with less sugar Kanten blocks of milk and sweet ones of Earl Grey (black tea). It's lovely marriage! Microwaved Rich Royal Milk Tea Microwaved Rich Royal Milk Tea
I didn't like the idea of putting the tea bags in the microwave with the staples attached, so I decided to do it this way.I also find wrapping the teabags up with their string somewhat relaxing.Mind you don't prick yourself when you are removing the staples from the tea bags. Caramel Milk Tea Caramel Milk Tea
I combined my favourite caramel and milk tea. It's easy to make using just one saucepan. It's quite sweet, so it might be better to reduce the amount of sugar and water? I like very sweet milk tea.If you don't make a rich-coloured caramel, it will just look like usual milk tea, so be careful. Recipe by Izumiuna cookpad.japan -
Black Tea Tiramisu Black Tea Tiramisu
Coffee-flavored tiramisu are certainly tasty, but I was sure that black tea would also work. This is a variation of a recipe that I read elsewhere.Take care to use only a small amount of powdered cocoa and cinnamon for the topping. Using an excessive amount destroys the black tea flavor.
