My sister likes to make this on special occasions and it doesn't last long. It's a dish her late husbands mother gave her before she passed away. And its a dish we all keep close to heart.

Ingredients

30 minutes
4-6 servings
  1. 1 lb.Ground Beef
  2. 1 lb.Bulk Mild Sausage
  3. 1Yellow Onion, chopped
  4. 1Green Pepper, chopped
  5. 1Sm. Can Mushrooms, drained and minced
  6. 2tsps. Salt
  7. 2tsps. Black Pepper
  8. 2tsps. Onion Powder
  9. 2tsps. Garlic Powder
  10. 1 Pkg.Spaghetti, broken in half
  11. 1Lg. Can Hunts Garlic and Herb Marinara Sauce
  12. 2 CupsShredded Cheddar Cheese

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400°F.

    In a large skillet add ground beef, sausage, onion, green pepper, mushrooms, and Seasonings. Cook til meat is no longer pink. Drain the grease and set aside.

    In a large pot fill it half way up with water. Bring it to a boil on high heat. Add the spaghetti. Turn heat down to medium and cook til noodle are soft. Drain the water and add back to pot. Add the meat mixture and sauce. Mix completely. Set aside.

    Butter a 13X9 casserole dish. Spread spaghetti mixture til evenly distributed. Top with shredded cheese. Bake for 25-35 minutes til cheese is melted and lightly browned and heated through.

    Remove from oven and enjoy immediately.
