Ingredients

  • 1/2 kgpeas
  • 2Tomatoes
  • as per tasteSalt
  • as per tasteRed chilli
  • half teaspoonGaram masala
  • half teaspoonDeghi mirch
  • As requiredcoriander leaves
  • 1onion
  • 1 tablespoonrefined oil
  • 200 mlwater
  • Half teaspoon turmeric powder

    Wash the peas with water in a bowl.

  2. 2

    Cut the potato into small pieces.

  3. 3

    The notch of the onion into small pieces and put them into the frying pan. Put some find out in a frying pan and fry the onion till it becomes light brown.

  4. 4

    Now add some part of turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, red chilli and degi mirch into the mixture. Now put the tomato paste in this mixture and mix it properly.

  5. 5

    Now take a pressure cooker and put some water and peas, potatoes into it. Pressure cook it for 2-3 whistles when done put the taka mixture into it and lid the pressure cooker and pressure cook them for 2- 3 whistles.

  6. 6

    Aloo Matar is ready to put some coriander leaves for garnish.
