Chilli Pakoras

Besan and Chillies are the two basic ingredients that go into making these gorgeous looking simple Mirchi Pakoras. I have used Long Green Chillies for this. And I have used a batter of Gram Flour or Besan with a few spices that are basic and are available in every pantry. These are best served at tea-time or Shaam Ki Chai. These are delicious when piping hot especially in Winter and Rainy Seasons which do come with their own charm. Everyone loves to eat them when it's cold and raining outside. You can serve them with any Chutney of your choice. I have served them with Mint and Tamarind Chutney, the recipe for the same is already on my profile here. Happy Cooking with Zee!

Steps
- 1
Make a thick yet a smooth and a fluffy batter using all the first 9 of the ingredients listed using water as required. Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes.
- 2
Wash and clean all the Chillies. Pat dry and make slits in the centre using a small knife. Also remove all the seeds whatever you can. If there are some left, no need to worry. That's perfectly okay.
- 3
Dip each of this in the prepared batter. Fry them in hot Oil on a medium high heat until golden brown and done. Sprinkle some Chat Masala on them while they are still hot. Toss and serve immediately with your favourite Chutney. Enjoy!
