Drumstick Daal

Chop the onions and coriander. Remove the outer strands of drumsticks and cut in pieces. Pressure cook the tuvar dal and mash it well.

In a pan, heat oil and add Tadka ingredients one by one. Add onions and sauté till golden brown. Then add coriander and drumstick pieces and sauté them. Add little water and cook with lid.

Add cooked dal, water and allow to boil. Now add masalas and salt and boil for 5-7 minutes. Tasty and healthy drumstick dal is ready to serve with roti or rice.
