Wash and soak tuar dal for 15 mins. Again wash and place it in the cooker add water to it. Cook open on the high flame when becoming start lather in it remove properly.

Now add necessary water and add turmeric,salt and asafoetida close the lid.and cook for 10 mins on low flame.

Take a tadka pan add ghee add cumin,chilli and asafoetida when it start crackle pour it in pili dal.serve hot with rice or chapati.

You can add coriander leaves, according to your taste.
