At first, I created this recipe using only chikuwa, but I added garlic shoots to add more volume. The garlic shoots go nicely with the buttery aroma and make this a tasty dish.

Ingredients

  1. 3Chikuwa (or hanpen)
  2. 1 packagesGarlic shoots
  3. 5 gramsButter
  4. 2 tbsp* Mirin
  5. 1 tbsp* Miso
  6. 1Shichimi spice

Cooking Instructions

    Combine the mirin and miso.

    Cut the chikuwa and garlic shoots into bite sizes.

  3. 3

    After sautéing the garlic shoots in a bit of vegetable oil, add butter and sauté the chikuwa.

    Add the mirin and miso mixture toss the ingredients together, then serve.
