Hashed Beef Rice in 15 Minutes

I came up with this recipe as an entry for a cooking contest.
Simple, one-pan hashed beef rice.
Use tomato sauce that already contains seasonings to lessen your workload (of course, you can add extra seasonings if desired). You can use demi-glace in place of the Japanese-style Worchestershire sauce. Recipe by Tukinokagayaki

- 1
Cut the broccoli into bite-size pieces and blanch. Thinly slice the onion and king oyster mushrooms.
- 2
Melt butter in a frying pan and add onions. When the onions become translucent, add beef and king oyster mushrooms. Sprinkle flour and cook, combining everything together well.
- 3
Add tomato sauce and water and mix well. Add the Japanese-style Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and season with salt, pepper and sugar. Add broccoli and cook for a few minutes.
