Shiny Glaze with Mini Jello Cups

The strawberries available during this time of the year lack shine... I was looking for a way to add a glossy sheen to them and discovered a method to use my child's jello snack!! It's a good enough portion and avoids the trouble of melting kanten or gelatin.
You could use grape-flavored jello if you're brushing it on berries. For oranges, I recommend using a clear-colored jello. Recipe by Apitan

Steps
- 1
Transfer the mini jello into a cup or heatproof container and microwave for 20-30 seconds. Once it has melted, use a pastry brush to brush on the fruits topped on your cake.
- 2
I used this brand of jello. I recommend using apple-flavored jello as the color and taste won't interfere with the fruits.
