Crescent Roll Pie

This is a super simple dish that I've made since I was a kid and it's still one of my favorites! It so easy to add to and mix up with different ingredients. This is the main way that I make it, but I've used sausage, or added bell peppers, etc.

This is a super simple dish that I've made since I was a kid and it's still one of my favorites! It so easy to add to and mix up with different ingredients. This is the main way that I make it, but I've used sausage, or added bell peppers, etc.
Steps
- 1
Brown meat in a skillet and season however you would like.
- 2
Drain meat and preheat oven according to crescent roll instructions.
- 3
Grab a greased round oven safe baking dish (pie dish or casserole dish; the deeper, the better). Line the bottom and sides of the dish with crescent rolls, saving a 1/2 tube for later.
- 4
Spread your drained meat evenly along the bottom of your lined dish. Add the jar of pasta sauce evenly, then most of your cheese.
- 5
Fold the excess crescent roll sides in, to start covering the top of your pie.
- 6
Use the remaining crescent rolls that you previously set aside, to completely cover the top of the pie. Sprinkle the top with cheese and bake per crescent roll instructions, until golden brown.
- 7
Allow to cool for at least 10min. It will be messy, but enjoy!
