Homemade Beef Broth

What's better than homemade broth? I prepare all my broths in advance and freeze them, so I always have some on hand to cook and flavor my dishes.

What's better than homemade broth? I prepare all my broths in advance and freeze them, so I always have some on hand to cook and flavor my dishes.
Steps
- 1
Place the uncleaned bones (with meat scraps) in a large skillet. Peel and slice the onion, peel and crush the garlic, and add them to the skillet. Add pepper, cover with water, and bring to a boil starting on low heat. Cook covered for 30 minutes, then let it rest until completely cooled. Remove the bones and scrape them well, remove thyme and bay leaves.
- 2
Put it back on the heat, bring to a boil again starting on low heat, and let it reduce, stirring occasionally. This process takes about 30 minutes, and you will get a concentrated broth. Let it cool slightly, then pour into freezer-safe containers.
- 3
Let it cool completely before putting on the lids. It's ready! It can be stored for several days in the refrigerator or several months in the freezer. Enjoy! 😋
