Ingredients

15-20 minutes
Serves 2-3 servings
  1. 2 canscanned fish in tomato sauce
  2. 3.5 oz (100 grams)straw mushrooms
  3. 1set Tom Yum herbs (lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, etc.)
  4. 2-3small shallots
  5. Green onions and cilantro
  6. 1-2limes
  7. Fish sauce
  8. 1little sugar
  9. Crushed Thai bird’s eye chilies

Steps

15-20 minutes
  1. 1

    Bring water to a boil and add the Tom Yum herbs.

  2. 2

    Add the straw mushrooms and cook for a bit. Then add the canned fish along with the tomato sauce. Let it come to a boil again, then turn off the heat.

  3. 3

    Season to taste with crushed chilies, lime juice, fish sauce, and a little sugar. Ladle the Tom Yum soup into bowls, garnish with green onions and cilantro, and serve.
