Mom's spicy and tangy bread masala upma
Bored of eating bread and it's been there for some time but you don't want to waste it? Here is a simple and tasty solution.
Steps

Add oil to a frying pan and temper mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chilli

Add sliced onion and fry for 1 min
- 3
Add sliced tomatoes and saute for 1 min or 2
- 4
Add salt to taste, turmeric powder, chili powder and saute the masala till tomatoes become tender. Sprinkle little water to help masala cook uniformly

Crumble the toasted bread slices and add to the masala
- 6
Saute for 2 to 3 mins to mix well. Once ready, garnish with coriander leaves. Enjoy your food as breakfast or evening snacks!
