Ingredients

  1. 4 slicesbread
  2. 1Onion
  3. 7Curry leaves
  4. 1green chilli
  5. 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  6. 1tomato
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1 tbspWater
  9. 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  10. as requiredCooking oil
  11. as neededTurmeric powder
  12. as per needCoriander leaves for garnishing
  13. as neededCauliflower / green peas / carrot (veggies of your choice)

Steps

  1. 1

    Add oil to a frying pan and temper mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chilli

  2. 2

    Add sliced onion and fry for 1 min

  3. 3

    Add sliced tomatoes and saute for 1 min or 2

  4. 4

    Add salt to taste, turmeric powder, chili powder and saute the masala till tomatoes become tender. Sprinkle little water to help masala cook uniformly

  5. 5

    Crumble the toasted bread slices and add to the masala

  6. 6

    Saute for 2 to 3 mins to mix well. Once ready, garnish with coriander leaves. Enjoy your food as breakfast or evening snacks!
