My husband found this recipe in his mom's papers. I always loved her recipes.

1 Box brownie mix according to directions on box

Pour into a greased 13x9-inch

Bake for 20 minutes

Mix Pecan Pie filling together except for the pecans, in a saucepan.

Cook over medium heat stirring constantly.

The filling should thicken enough to coat a spoon; about 15 minutes.

Stir in pecans and cook 2 - 3 minutes more until the mixture matches the consistency of runny oatmeal.

You want it to be loose enough to pour over the brownie, but not liquid.

Place the Brownies back in the oven for another 25-30 minutes or until the filling only jiggles slightly in the middle when you move the pan.

Let cool before cutting.
