Steps
- 1
Soak Bengal Gram for at least 3 hours. Cut a medium sized Bottle Gourd into semi circular pieces. Wash and keep aside.
- 2
Heat Oil in a Pressure Cooker. Saute Onions with all the powdered spices mentioned. Also add Green Chillies and Mutton. Saute all of that for about 5 minutes. Next is to add chopped Tomatoes, Coriander Leaves, Bottle Gourd pieces and Bengal Gram or Chana Daal.
- 3
Pressure cook for about 6-7 whistles. This is a semi thick Curry, so there is no need to add any extra water. Because of the presence of Tomatoes, it's absolutely a good consistency Curry. Simmer just until it's perfectly done and Oil starts separating or the Curry thickens a bit. Check for Salt at this point of time. Garnish with some more of the Coriander Leaves and it's all ready to dish out. Yum!

Enjoy with your lovely families.
