This is an easy everyday Curry made with Mutton Bone-in, Bengal Gram and Bottle Gourd. It can be a great Vegetarian Curry also if meat is skipped. It can be had with Rice and Rotis as well. It's a one pot meal and doesn't require any side dishes but if desired, it can be served alongside Poppadoms, Curd Chillies etc. This is the best option for mealtimes on any day. With all the goodness of Bottle Gourd and Bengal Gram, it is a healthy one to make for your families.

A super healthy and a nourishing meal for the whole family. The best part is that it's a one pot meal. A perfect option for mealtimes. Be it a Lunch or a Dinner, it's absolutely a bliss. You would love it for sure. Chana Daal and Kaddu or Lauki has been made in every Indian household with a distinctive touch of their own. This one from Hyderabad is a popular Non-Veg variation with Lauki or Bottle Gourd and it's a winner hands down. With Lamb bone-in, it's absolutely flavourful and delicious. You would love it every bit. Let's get started then.

  2. 2

Heat Oil in a Pressure Cooker. Saute Onions with all the powdered spices mentioned. Also add Green Chillies and Mutton. Saute all of that for about 5 minutes. Next is to add chopped Tomatoes, Coriander Leaves, Bottle Gourd pieces and Bengal Gram or Chana Daal.

  3. 3

Pressure cook for about 6-7 whistles. This is a semi thick Curry, so there is no need to add any extra water. Because of the presence of Tomatoes, it's absolutely a good consistency Curry. Simmer just until it's perfectly done and Oil starts separating or the Curry thickens a bit. Check for Salt at this point of time. Garnish with some more of the Coriander Leaves and it's all ready to dish out. Yum!

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
