Ingredients

  • 1/2 kgonion
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • 1 tspsugar
  • 1-2cardamom
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1 cupvinegar
  • 1 inchcinnamon
  • 1/2beet root

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat water in a pan

  2. 2

    Add beet root,sugar,cinnamon,cardamom in the water and boil it

  3. 3

    Strain the water

  4. 4

    Add the onion to a jar

  5. 5

    Pour the water over the onion

  6. 6

    Top with vinegar and salt

  7. 7

    Cover the jar and keep it in the refrigerator

  8. 8

    Use the onion after 24 hours
