Potato Bombs Stuffed with Meat and Spicy Sauce

This recipe is very tasty. I was inspired by the traditional dish of patatas bravas but gave it a twist by adding meat. That's why it's a real bomb! I hope you like it.
Potato Bombs Stuffed with Meat and Spicy Sauce
This recipe is very tasty. I was inspired by the traditional dish of patatas bravas but gave it a twist by adding meat. That's why it's a real bomb! I hope you like it.
Steps
- 1
First, sauté the finely chopped shallots and garlic in a pan with oil.
- 2
Meanwhile, peel the potatoes and cut them into similar-sized pieces so they cook evenly. Put water and salt in a pot and add the chopped potatoes. Boil them for 25 minutes until soft.
- 3
Add the ground meat to the pan and season with salt and pepper. Add chopped cilantro. Let the meat brown well. Add a few pine nuts.
- 4
Once the meat is browned, add the crushed tomatoes, cumin, smoked paprika, and choricero pepper. Let it simmer for 25 minutes on low heat.
- 5
Pass the potatoes through a potato ricer and add salt and pepper.
- 6
Finally, form potato balls with your hands, add a little of the meat mixture and some potato, and shape them into rounds.
- 7
Coat them in corn flour, egg, and homemade breadcrumbs.
- 8
Fry them in a pan with sunflower oil. Add a bit of spicy sauce on top and bottom of the bomb. And they're ready to eat. Enjoy!
