Ingredients

1/3 cup
  • 75 mlwater
  • 75 mldark soy sauce
  • 3 tbspwhite sugar/rock sugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat.

  2. 2

    Stir constantly until the sugar dissolves and the liquid thickens into a simple syrup.

  3. 3

    Add the dark soy sauce, stirring to combine.

  4. 4

    Serve in a sauce dish or store it in a air tight jar.
