Ingredients

  1. 4tomatoes chopped
  2. 4-5garlic finely chopped
  3. 3 Tablespoonscrushed peanut powder
  4. 1 tablespoonred chili powder
  5. 1 tablespoonkala masala or garam masala
  6. 1 tablespoonjaggery
  7. 1 teaspoonturmeric powder
  8. as per tasteSalt
  9. Pinchasaefoetida
  10. 1 tablespooncoriander cumin powder
  11. 1green chili

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds & asafoetida.

    Add chopped green tomatoes. Mix & cook for 5 minutes.

    Add coriander-cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder & garam masala. Mix well. Cook properly. Add very little water.

    Add jaggery & peanut powder.

    Cover lid & cook completely. Serve with hot chapati or phulka or with dal rice.
