Ingredients

  1. 1 lbground beef
  2. 1/3green pepper, minced
  3. 1/2yellow onion, minced
  4. 3 clovesgarlic, minced
  5. 1 Tbsptomato paste
  6. 2/3 cupketchup
  7. 1/3 cupwater
  8. 1 Tbspbrown sugar
  9. 1 tspyellow mustard
  10. 3/4 tspchili powder
  11. 1/2 tspWorcestershire sauce
  12. salt to taste
  13. Black pepper to taste
  14. 1/4 tspred pepper flakes (optional)
  15. Dashhot sauce (optional)

Cooking Instructions

30-40 mins
  1. 1

    Brown beef and drain preferred amount of grease.

  2. 2

    Add onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened (2-3 mins) then add garlic and tomato paste before continuing to final step.

  3. 3

    Add remaining ingredients and simmer, storing occasionally for 10-15 mins. Serve over hamburger buns.
