Ingredients

12 servings
  1. 1 cupall-purpose flour
  2. 1/2 cupgranulated white sugar
  3. 2 tspbaking powder
  4. 1 tspvanilla extract
  5. 1large egg
  6. 1/2 cupmilk
  7. 1/4 cupwater
  8. 1 tbspmelted butter
  9. 1 tbspmelted butter or cooking oil for greasing molds

Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare steamer by boiling water set to medium low heat.

  2. 2

    In a mixing bowl, mix dry ingredients (flour, baking powder and sugar)

  3. 3

    Add milk and egg. Mix until there are no lumps.

  4. 4

    Add water and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

  5. 5

    Grease molds thinly. Pour in mixture until filled 3/4 or the mold. Lay cheese on top.

  6. 6

    Steam for 12 mins on low heat setting.
