Ingredients

30 min:
4 servings
  • 2 cupbesan(gram flour)
  • 1 kgdahi
  • 2medium onions. Fine slice
  • 1 Tbspchop mint leaves
  • 1and 1/2 Tbsp Red chilli flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 TbspChop coriander
  • 2medium tomatoes. (Chop or cubes)
  • 2-3green chillies. Fine slice
  • 1 tsproasted zeera powder. (also 1 tsp plain whole zeera.)
  • 1 tspchaat masalah powder
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 Pinchbaking soda. (Meetha soda)

Steps

30 min:
  1. 1

    Take a bowl add besan, salt, 1/2 Tbsp Red chilli flakes, 1 tsp sabut zeera(whole cumin)and baking soda.

  2. 2

    Add water, make thick batter. Heat oil and fry tiny phulkies. Soak for 1 min: in salted water and set a side.

    Take a large bowl add dahi, beat well and add milk or water, aprox: 2 cups.make smooth batter.

  4. 4

    Add all ingredients in phulkies, except bhuna zeera and chaat masala, half quantity.

    Now add dahi (yogurt) mix well lightly and set into serving bowl. Garnish with remaining zeera powder and chaat masala.
