Ingredients

3 servings
  • 500 gmsboneless chicken cubes
  • 1 tspSalt (to taste)
  • 1 tspblack pepper (freshly grated or powder)
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 3-4button red chillies
  • 2 tbspsoya sauce
  • 1medium onion
  • 1 tspgarlic paste
  • 1 cupketchup
  • 1 tspsugar
  • 2 tspvinegar
  • 2 tspbuffalo hot sauce
  • Oil as required
  • 1 tspcorn starch
  • 3 tbspWater
  • 1/2 cupwater

Steps

  1. 1

    Marinate chicken with soya sauce, salt, black and red pepper for 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a pan. Fry chicken and red button chillies until tender. Remove and set aside.

  3. 3

    Add oil in a pot. Add garlic paste, ketchup, vinegar, buffalo hot sauce, sugar, 1/2 cup water. Stir well.

  4. 4

    When it bubbles, add cornstarch slurry made with 3 tbsp water to thicken gravy.

  5. 5

    Add chicken, button red chillies, and onions to pot. Stir. Bring to a boil.

  6. 6

    Turn flame off. Serve with fried rice. Enjoy!
