Ingredients

  • 1small pumpkin (kaddu)
  • 1/4 teaspoonfenugreek seeds (methi seeds)
  • 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoonGaram Masala Powder
  • 2 tablespoonoil
  • 1 tspsugar
  • 3 tspchopped coriander leaves for garnishing (optional)
  • 1/4 tspcoriander powder
  • to tasteSalt and red chilli powder
  • 1 tspCumin seeds

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the pumpkin. Peel and chop the pumpkin.

    Now take a kadai, add cumin seeds,mustard seeds and fry for a minute on a low flame.

    Add the chopped pumpkin and all the dry spice powders except garam masala.

    Add the chopped pumpkin and all the dry spice powders except garam masala and dry mango powder.Cover the kadai with a lid and pressure cook for 15 minutes.

    If the sabzi still looks watery to you, then evaporate the water from the sabzi by cooking it without the lid.
