Steps

Combine the ☆ ingredients. Bring the butter to room temperature. Whisk the egg. - 2
Put the butter in a bowl, then whip the mixture into a cream. Add sugar, then continue to whip until the mixture turns a pale white. - 3
Mix in the egg a little at a time, then add the maraschino, and mix again.

Sift in the ☆ ingredients, then lightly mix until even. ※ Stirring while moving the spatula in the shape of a "J" makes mixing easy.

Use it in a tart, or, since it doesn't melt when baked, mix it with custard and use it as filling when baking bread.
