Rava ladoo

Rava/Sooji laddu is easy and delicious Indian dessert recipe. It is made with rava, dry coconut, sugar, cardamom, ghee and nuts. This recipe doesn’t take much time and usually made for festivals. It can be stored upto few days.

Rava/Sooji laddu is easy and delicious Indian dessert recipe. It is made with rava, dry coconut, sugar, cardamom, ghee and nuts. This recipe doesn’t take much time and usually made for festivals. It can be stored upto few days.
Steps

Heat ghee in a pan. Add in chopped cashews and almonds (you can even add 1 tbsp raisins). Fry them until golden.

Add in rava and fry on medium flame for 6 to 8 minutes until aromatic and light golden.

Add in gated dry coconut and fry for a minute.

Add in fine sugar and mix everything well for a minute. Switch off the flame and let it cool down.

Add required amount of milk to small portions and make ladoo. Repeat in small portions, don’t add milk all at once. Prepare all ladoo and arrange on a plate. Once it is firm you can store them in airtight container.

Serve and enjoy.
