You often see salad-like dishes with cured ham and figs paired with mozzarella. I wanted to make a similar appetizer but something simpler, easier, and a little bit creamier to enjoy with wine.

It's also delicious with honey instead of oil, salt and black pepper. Recipe by Baryamau

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2Figs
  2. 8 sliceCured ham
  3. 100 gramsCream cheese
  4. 1Olive oil
  5. 1Coarse salt
  6. 1Coarsely ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Peel your figs and quarter vertically.

  2. 2

    Wrap slices of cured ham round the figs from Step 1.

  3. 3

    Lay out the wrapped figs on a platter and position dollops of cream cheese in between.

  4. 4

    Drizzle on olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Serve.
