Dahi Phulki is little different from Dahi Vada with slight change on ingredients. It is prepared from chickpea flour and spices. It is most famous dish for Ramadan as well as in Eid.

Dahi Phulki is little different from Dahi Vada with slight change on ingredients. It is prepared from chickpea flour and spices. It is most famous dish for Ramadan as well as in Eid.
Steps

Add chickpea flour in a mixing bowl. Make a thick batter by adding water slowly and stirring it to avoid formation of lumps.

Wash, peel and Chop coriander leaves, green chilli, ginger and garlic.

Mix chilli, coriander leaves, ginger and garlic in chickpea batter. Add salt and cumin seeds and mix well.

Now add baking soda and gently mix 2-3 times in one direction.

Heat cooking oil in a wok. Deep fry phulkies by pouring a tb spoon of batter in it 4-6 phulkies can be fried at a time.

Flip the side and fry from other side also. Likewise make all the phulkies. Transfer it in a plate.

Heat water in a pan. Add phulkies in hot water. Cover it with a lid for 10 minutes.

Remove the lid and strain the water. Keep it in strainer for 10 minutes.

Add curd in a mixing bowl. Add salt and sugar and Whisk it thorougly.

Add phulkies in curd.

Tadka: Heat oil in a small pan. Add cumin seeds when cumin seeds splutter switch off the flame. Pour it on curd and phulkies.

Serve hot or chilled garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
