Spinach soup (palak soup)

Firstly wash the spinach in water 2 to 3 times

Now turn on the flame and heat a pan,add butter..

Let the butter melt add bay leaf,cloves,cinnamon fry it for few seconds...add garlic and onion.saute till they turn golden brown.

Add spinach and tomato cover it and cook it for 3-4 mins on medium flame..

Discard the bay leaves and cinnamon stick

After 3-4 min,turn off the flame.

And let it cool down and take it out in a blending jar..blend it into a puree.(you may add little water)

Turn on the flame and heat the same pan add palak paste,add one cup of water.I am using the remaining paste in a grinding jar..stir it.

Increase the flame to medium add salt and black pepper powder mix it well..cook it on medium flame till it starts boiling..

Add cornflour into the milk and add it into the soup..keep stirring.cook it for 2-3 min on medium flame..

Finally,add cream.turn off the flame.

Take it out in a serving bowl.garnish it with cream serve hot..
