I wanted to make some crepe-wrapped ice cream for my family, so I worked out the amount of ingredients I would need to make just enough crepes.

Mix the vegetable oil in well. Be careful about how hot the frying pan gets. If you double the amount of ingredients I recommend using 1 large (approx. 60 g) egg. Recipe by Maakunnookusan

Ingredients

  1. 30 gramsEgg
  2. 1 tbspSugar
  3. 50 mlMilk
  4. 20 gramsCake flour
  5. 5 gramsVegetable oil

Steps

    Add the sugar to the egg and beat together well. Microwave for 30 seconds (without wrap) and dissolve the sugar. Sift the flour into the milk.

  2. 2

    Mix the flour and milk until it is no longer floury, and then mix in the egg and sugar mixture from Step 1. Then mix in the vegetable oil.

  3. 3

    Grease a medium-sized frying pan with a thin layer of oil (not listed in ingredients) and pour in the crepe batter. Set the heat to low-medium and cook the batter until the surface is no longer liquid.

  4. 4

    If you add a splash of vanilla oil (essence) or rum to the batter you'll get even more flavour.
