South Indian Dhokla

Soak chana dal and rice in water overnight or for around 8 hours.

Drain excess water and grid it with curd and water to makeba smooth batter

Transfer it to bowl add salt and turmeric powder mix it well and keep it coverd for fermentation for 6-8hours.

Grease the dhokla plate with oil.

Add 1tsp oil and chilli garlic paste to fermented batter mix it properly.

Add eno and stir it for 1min in same direction.

Pour batter to greased pot.

Sprinkle cumin seed and red chilli powder.

Steam it for 15-20min.check it by pricking it toothpick.

Take it out and let it cool.cut it in small pieces.

Heat 2tbsp oil to tempering pan.add Mustard seed and cumin seeds when they begin to crackers add curry leaves.

Turn off flame pour it over dokla

Garnish it with coriander leaves and sev
